Materialdetails
The ProSafe® 2 one-piece overall is made from a high-quality, antistatic, microporous film membrane that not only provides protection but also ensures pleasant breathability. This material is specifically designed to offer an effective barrier against particles, pathogens, and certain chemicals, while remaining lightweight and comfortable for the wearer. The three-part hood and crotch insert, as well as the double-covered zipper and thumb loops, are additional features that contribute to the functionality of the protective suit.
color variants
In addition to the standard color white, we also offer the ProSafe® 2 protective overall in blue. These color options allow the overall to be adapted to different work environments and corporate colors. Both color variants maintain their integrity and protective functions regardless of the chosen color and meet the requirements for Type 5/6 disposable protective suits.
FAQ
Which protective suit for asbestos?
For work with asbestos, disposable suits of type 5/6 are particularly suitable. These suits are dust-tight (type 5) and thus provide effective protection against solid particles, which is crucial when handling asbestos. Type 6 stands for limited spray-tightness, offering additional protection in case of potential contact with liquid substances. Disposable suits of type 5/6 are therefore a common choice for demolition work and specifically suitable for asbestos work. Type 4 suits, which are spray-tight, can also be used when handling aerosols.
What types of protective suits are there?
There are different types of protective suits that should be selected based on requirements and application areas: ● Type 1 (EN 943-1): Gas-tight chemical protective clothing, offers maximum protection against gases and vapors. ● Type 2 (EN 943-1): Protection against liquids, sprays, and dust, not gas-tight. ● Type 3 (EN 14605): Liquid-tight protective clothing against hazardous liquids. ● Type 4 (EN 14605): Spray-tight protective clothing, protects against spray mist from chemicals. ● Type 5 (EN ISO 13982-1): Particle-tight protective clothing, protects against airborne solid particles. ● Type 6 (EN ISO 13034): Limited protective performance against liquid mists and splashes, not for complete liquid protection.
