ProSafe® 2 protective coverall Type 5B/6B - white

The ProSafe® 2 by DS SafetyWear is a certified disposable protective suit of Category III and provides reliable protection in work environments where hazardous particles, dust or contaminated liquid splashes may occur. Particularly for asbestos work, the suit is a proven choice due to its Type 5B certification.

Standards and protective performance

• Type 5B (EN ISO 13982-1): Protection against airborne solid particles such as asbestos, glass wool or other fine dust

• Type 6B (EN 13034): Limited protection against liquid splashes, for example when applying cleaning or disinfecting agents

• EN 14126: Protection against biological hazards such as viruses and bacteria

• EN 1149-5: Antistatic - suitable for use in explosive atmospheres

Use for asbestos work

For activities such as asbestos abatement, particle-tight protective clothing in accordance with Type 5B is mandatory. The ProSafe® 2 fully meets this requirement and protects the wearer from dangerous, respirable fibers released when handling asbestos. Combined with its liquid-repellent properties (Type 6B), the suit is also suitable for supplementary cleaning and decontamination work in the surrounding area.

Material and features

The suit is made of a microporous, antistatic laminate that is lightweight, breathable and highly protective at the same time. The following features ensure tight closures and a secure fit:

Colors and sizes

Available in white and blue, adapted to different work environments. Sizes from XS to XXXL ensure a good fit for all body types.
